I wrapped up my time on a college campus in 1991. I’ve told high school seniors that culture shock awaits. In the first 72 hours on campus, I:

  1. walked thru a margarita party in the dorm.
  2. refused an offer of a drink, but my wasted roommate punched the bartender to keep me from temptation
  3. walked into a friend’s dorm room filled with a marijuana cloud
  4. helped a young woman escape a date-rape after a frat party

That was 1987. Destructive lifestyles are harder to avoid than ever. I only made it through because of a campus group, Worldwide Discipleship Association. I hope you can make it, too.
